Hes not that far from Deadwood,  we will have legalized sports betting in SD starting July 1st. although some say it will take a few months to get the betting machines in place.

Thanks for all the advice! Some good stuff here. I will listen to the advice about how to fund my account and which site to use, but never your advice about the Vikings. Ya'll aren't particularly known for being in touch with reality when it comes to the good guys. And I will say that I've never once before felt confidant enough in the separation between Vegas/public outlook on the Vikes and what I think the team is capable of. So there.

1. I like the super long odds of Cousins winning MVP. I think it's 6600. I don't know what that means but guessing if I put $100 on it, I win $6600? Or is it $660? I told you I'm a novice.

2. I really like the not so long odds of the Vikings winning the division or making the playoffs. Not a lot to win there, but that could be easy money and worth a dip.

3. Super Bowl, baby! Why not? Long odds but probably no longer than Tampa winning last year at this time coming off 7-9.

And no, I wouldn't bet money I couldn't afford to lose. And since my ONE bet paid big, I can say I've never lost.
Err, I think I'm way more in touch with reality than the crowd here that's shouting Superbowl every spring and WTF just happened every winter, lol.  But to each his own.  Been a fan since 1970, seen plenty of reality along the way.

At any rate, Cousins at 6600 does mean that 100 gets you 6600.   If Brady was -200 then 100 would get you 50 (plus your original hundred back).

Division at plus money could be a value bet if Rodgers ends up not playing for Green Bay.   The minute something develops those odds could shift in a hurry.

That doesn't at all address your questions, MB, but its all about me.  :p

Here's the frustrating part for me: I used to LOVE playing online poker on FullTilt. When I traveled for business, I'd come back to my hotel room after dinner and enjoy a few hours of poker on my laptop. I really missed it. Unfortunately, my state, Florida, banned online poker years ago due to a law sneaked in by Congress. The reason I mention this is that Florida recently passed an expanded mobile online betting and gaming law, but it still doesn’t include poker. :/
