Atlanta has always been like that. The Braves couldn't even sell out PLAYOFF games back in their hey-day. Never understood it. Atlanta was the only city in the southeast with professional sports for a long time.

correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Atlanta a very transitory city? That could explain the sports behavior there.

The South is primarily college football territory, as that's what the culture grew up with traditionally. Pro football teams are a fairly recent development.

I love me some SEC football and I'm literally in Canada...That helps explain it too. But a lot of those teams have been there for decades now...

This is correct.  I work in Atlanta, commute down 2-3 weeks out of every month.  Very few Falcons fans where I work and very few Atlanta natives.

Same here. Wendy was on fire. I loved Lisa's jacket. I enjoyed the music. It brings back memories.
