So did the Raiders last year about this time.

they havent tried to throw to him in a defense that is scheming to take him away.

Preseason vanilla is his favorite flavor.  Getting beyond the vanilla into flavors 2-31 gets a bit more dicey.

Same as Harvin.  With no desire to learn how to be a WR, they are limited to constraint plays and with no threat of that player actually running a route, the defense knows what is coming.
