I would not do it (and I highly doubt Dallas would pay that). We don't know what Diggs will look like in 2018 with Kirk under center. If he takes it to the next level, we just pay the man and keep him. If he has a mediocre season, then we offer him mediocre money and just let it play out. The franchise tag would be an option in 2019 to avoid an expensive long term deal.
