Manziel - 1st round 22nd pick
Watson - 3 1st round picks a 3rd round and a 4th round pick
Mayfield - 1st round - 1st pick
Sanders -5th round - pick 144
Comet - he would have gotten picked by someone else or sign as a UDFA. Its all about the amount of investment. Yes Sanders has some flaws, but he also has some talent. Yes imperfect QB's need time to learn and overcome some of their flaws. Unlike Manziel and Mayfield, there is no expectation for him to start or lead an organization. He just has to show up to work ready to learn. If you don't understand the difference in draft capital, there is really nothing else to say here. He can easily be cut if he is not putting in the work or being a distraction.

“I was so mad, my pride kicked in, and I tried to hit this 235-pound safety as hard as I could. I ended up injuring my shoulder—third-degree AC joint separation. I had surgery, and it ended my season. I just never felt like I threw the football the same.”
