There was a lot to be concerned about in that game. But IMO the lack of defensive adjustments in the second half by Donatell was the most head scratching.
Well, the Vikings did shut them out in the 2nd half. They still moved the ball well, as did the Vikings, but turnovers prevented both teams from scoring. Funny how that works.
Philly wins that game 7 of 10 times @ home imo...
Agree. At home it will be a different game. Rams were blown out by the 49ers in San Francisco in November and then beat them at home in the playoffs. If the Vikings play the Eagles in the playoffs it will be a different game. Not saying they'll win necessarily, but it will be a different game. For example, I doubt we'll see the shell again. It's like the Packers, you can bet your mortgage that they won't play zone against JJ next time. It will be a completely different game than what we saw week one.

We just lost on the road to a better, more talented team in a prime time game. It's nothing new for the Vikings and I would say right now if Jalen Hurts continues to play like that, the Eagles have to be the favorite to get to the Super Bowl in the NFC. So yeah it sucks and it's disappointing how we played, but it wasn't t an unexpected loss. The Lions game Sunday will be a better indicator of where we are at as a team. Evenly matched division opponent who we should have lost both games to last season. Hate to call it a "must win" but it's a hugely important game

The only thing worse than our offense was our defense... or maybe not.  They both sucked.
defense never had a chance to catch their breath in the first half.  IMO the O was the real shit show last night.  Vikings had 5 drives in the first half.... 4 of the 5 were 3 and outs.  really hard to make in game adjustments when your players are on the field the whole first half.  the D didnt do themselves many favors last night either,  but starting the game with 2 - 3 and outs cant be over looked.
