All three teams watched the Super Bowl from home.
Honestly, looking at the rosters and looking at where these teams were supposed to be, the Bills and the Packers shit the bed more so than the Vikings.
Packers, yes. Bills, I dont think you can say that. NFL changed the OT rules because of that game
I think giving up a score when you are kicking off with 13 seconds left falls squarely within the bounds of "shitting the bed" territory.
It is, but not giving a team the chance in OT is the dumbest structure ever. Not saying they would have won, but wtf NFL. Glad it's changed
So, how many times does the NFL need to change the OT rules?
Until they get it right. It still wasnt right after the Vikes - Saints NFC Championship Game as that's when they said a TD on first drive wins. Literally every other major sport allows the other team to have a chance, meaning Baseball, Hockey, Basketball, College Football, etc.

The new rule is a step in the right direction, but again, both teams dont score or tie, then it's sudden death. In the case of Bills, Chiefs from this past year, that likely means TD-TD and then Chiefs score again. That part makes no sense as it doesn't allow the other team to respond. JMO

It's called "Sudden Death OT" for a reason in hockey as in the next goal wins it.  NFL wants to get rid of Sudden Death OT.

It's called "Sudden Death OT" for a reason in hockey as in the next goal wins it - Right, but all players are on the ice for both teams. Generally both teams get their shot to score in hockey. Teams didnt get the chance to respond prior to Vikes Saints. Until this year they werent allowed to respond if they gave up a TD. Both teams should be given a chance to score/respond

No they aren't, only the ones on the ice are on the ice.

The real issue is that the NFL rules have kept changing to help the offense, now the D has little chance of stopping the offense, so we have to tweak other rules.
