It's the good old boys club. They are going to stick together because the rest don't want their dirty laundry aired in public.
Even the mob will take one of their own out if he's bringing too much attention.

They took down Jerry Richardson for sexual harassment and calling an employee the n word. Dan Snyder has done a lot worse by some accounts but Dan Snyder will sue and fight the NFL like crazy and they know it. The more powerful or aggressive an owner is, the more they tend to try to sweep it under the rug.

I think its more that Snyder would pull down the NFL with him, that's the fear from other owners and Goodell. He knows where the bodies are buried.
