I had to look it up; Winter Weather Watch down in MSP, 6-10 inches mixed precipitation. Wind gusts of 40 mph. Yuck.

We're under a Blizzard Warning 120 miles north, expecting 12-20 inches and a lot of wind.

I’m already nervous/excited about it.  I hope the game doesn’t become about the weather.  I really want Mn. to smack them fair and square. Go Gophers!

That weather definitely favors the Badgers.  Dammit.  The deep passing game in those winds is pretty much gone.  I remember last year Iowa beat Maryland in a game of 20+ mph winds with 40+ gusts (no snow).  Iowa ran the ball 50 times and completed 8 passes.  Unfortunately Wisconsin isn't Maryland.

Very Minnesotaesque.  Build ya up just to let ya down.  Nobody that follows Minnesota sports should be at all surprised.

A day later my thoughts turn to "maybe this is the start of a great, new era" in Gopher football. This can only help recruiting.

Yah, that felt good typing that... B)

Border battle games for the Gophs were tough on them this weekend.  While I was wanting the football team to win, I loved the way the Sioux took care of business on the ice.  I read it was only the second time in 40 years UND has swept the Gopher hockey team on their rink.
