1. San Fran
2. New Orleans
3. Green Bay

5. Minnesota
6. Dallas

You think Seattle is that good? Beat Bengals by 1, beat Steelers by 2, beat Rams by 1. I guess I'd put them in clusters like this
New Orleans

My top 5. If we beat #1 and #4, well then let's just say this list changes. B)
1. Seattle2. San Fran
3. New Orleans
4. Green Bay
5. Minnesota
Not a huge gap between any of these teams, IMO.
I would put New Orleans #1 in the NFC... they have been in the playoffs the last couple years and have a pretty balanced team. I think they finish as the #1 seed in the NFC.
SF would probably be #2... they remind me a lot of the Bears from last season. Great defense and running game, but their QB hasn't been asked to do much and they seem to be feasting on bad (and average) teams.
I would probably have Seattle, Minnesota, Green Bay, and Dallas clustered together. They all have shown some great play, mixed with some bad.
The NFC has a lot of really good teams, but none that I would consider great. I think a lot will depend on who gets hot towards the end of the year. Still a lot of football left to be played...

I agree. Seattle's defense is soft. They are pretty much a one man show with Wilson.
I have questions about how good SF really is. Especially with Kittle out. But they have the best record, so according to parcells, they are who their record sez they are.
Just want to point out San Francisco's schedule before losing to the Seahawks....
Bucs
Bengals
Steelers
Browns
Rams
Skins
Panthers
Cardinals
After another gimme against the Cards, they get....
Packers
Ravens
Saints
That stretch will say a lot about who they really are.

Agreed. I realize that if maybe's and but's were candy and nuts we'd all have a merry f'n Christmas, but I wouldn't anoint the top spots in the playoffs to the Aint's and Whiners just yet.
1.Seattle/NO/MINN/GB/9ers/Boys
2. Philly/Rams
I just don't see any separation between the teams at the top. They all have warts. They can all beat anyone at home. They all have a legit chance to beat anyone on the road. They all could host a Playoff game and lose due to TOs, penalties, etc.
This is a crazy wide open year and the only thing that would surprise me is if Philly or the Rams get in and make it to the Super Bowl.
Of the +.500 teams, on a neutral field, for various reasons right now:
1. NO
2. Seattle, MN
4. GB, Dallas
6. SF, LAR, Philly
9. Car
Again, not sold on SF

That has just as much chance of being the truth as anything else.

Here's one thing I heard on the radio last Saturday morning on one of those AM radio NFL Betting infomercial type things that come on while I was sitting in the car: Vegas likes the Vikings. The dude was actually very informed and the host asked him about something or other and he brought up the Vikings. He said he didn't know why but that Vegas was being extraordinarily strong with Minnesota betting lines in their favor. Mentioned that these Vegas line people are brilliant and have it down to a science and that he's not going to question why, he's just going to bet the Vikings.

One of the talking heads was saying that he REALLY likes the Vikings... except for one, key player? Any guesses as to which player he (and many others) still doesn't "believe in"?
I have to say, I'm still skeptical, too (it's part of being a Viking fan). That being said, though... I think we're good enough to make a long run. So...
1) Vikings
2) Seattle
3) N.O.
4) Green Bay
5) San Fran.
6) Dallas
