More stuff I shouldn't be posting.....
Lock of the WeekDenver (3-6) at Minnesota (7-3)1 p.m. ET (CBS)
Point spread: Vikings, -10.5
If there's any game in Week 11 that seems like a disaster waiting to happen, it's definitely this one. I'm not sure what kind of disaster, but we'll go with a Rocky Mountain avalanche, since this game is probably going to turn out badly for the Broncos. One problem that the Broncos have heading into this game is that Brandon Allen will be making the first road start of his career. If you're a quarterback making your first road start, ideally, you want that start to come against a bad team that you could potentially beat, like Cincinnati or Washington. Instead, Allen has to make his start against the only team in the NFC that's still undefeated at home this year.
Another problem for Allen is that the Vikings have been one of the best teams in the NFL at stopping the run this season, which means if Denver is going to win, it's going to be because Allen puts up huge numbers. Spoiler alert: Allen is not going to put up huge numbers.
Also, let's not forget the most important thing of all: The Broncos have a losing record and we all know that no one is better at beating bad teams than Kirk Cousins.
The pick: Vikings 31-13 over Broncos
Lock of the week record: 9-1 straight up, 4-6 against the spread
LOL... nobody is better at beating bad teams than Kirk Cousins.
Broncos giving up 18.9 points per game...
Viewer discretion advised.
I think Dalvin covers the 18.9 points himself this game.

Yeah, hopefully the Vikings can get their home field roll on.
They did give up 30 to the Chiefs and 27 to the Packers. The rest of their opponents are well out of the top 10 in pts/game to start with. It looks like most of their games they're giving up right around that teams' average. That would be roughly 26 to the Vikings. =)
I can not help but think back to Buffalo last year and the vikings ability to make back up quarterbacks look all pro. They should win this but I am still a little worried that any given sunday.
Oh no Sticky, not again! Guaranteed loss. I better get some money down against the Vikings. Only way I can seem to get the Vikings to win!
Florio on PFT jinxed 'em too with the article yesterday about Kirk not having a turnover since the doink-pick off of Diggs' melon. :/
The Broncos have a good defense. But is their pass rush better than the Cowboys'? Vikings are coming home to play a losing AFC team after a big, prime time, road win against a divisional leader. Hmmmm. I would feel a lot better if AT were in the lineup.
Listen, if the Vikings can't beat Brandon Allen, then shut it down. Allen has one career start, one game played in the NFL and has thrown 12 completions in his 4 years in the league. All of that came last week. This isn't like Chase Daniel who has been in the league 10 years, started 5 games and thrown for over 1400 yards. Allen isn't that caliber. Seriously, Minnesota should win this game handily and I never say things like that.
Yeah, Vikings should win this one. Chris Harris Jr. will probably shadow and eliminate Diggs, but Cousins proved he could find other receivers in Dallas. Also, not a big fan of Von Miller against our tackles.
But we have a big advantage everywhere else. Our run game against their middle of the road run D. And our defense, playing at home, against a rookie QB and what might be the worst left tackle in the NFL, should dominate.
Our D looks like Foge Fazio is still the DC and Robert Tate and Wassa Serwanga are the CBs...I'm not saying we lose, I'm saying we can't just show up and throw out helmets on the field...

It hurts because it's true. All we need is Leslie at the podium telling us he'll watch the tape and make the corrections. I assume the Broncos no-name qb will chunk it down the field at will like the last 5 teams we've faced did, and the announcers will be 'astonished at this amazing performance' and maybe we'll scratch out a close one...or maybe not.
I think coach Kubiak had this one marked on his calendar about 10 seconds after he agreed to join the Vikes. I don't see a let down game here.
I think the Denver D will know what to expect from our offense, but they'll have a heck of a time scoring on us.
