It wasn't that long ago that a Day 3 pick got a mid year call up that made you wonder why this guy wasn't getting game snaps earlier.
I'm going to get way out on this branch and say keep your eye on Armon Watts. Single year SEC starter who was productive without a great get off step.
A guy can dream.

Yep, keeping Stephen at 3T, per Zim...
Golden opportunity in primetime, it'd be impressive if they ALL made plays.

It was impressive that Zim was still able to bottle up Elliott so well, even down his big man in the middle.

I think DL definitely jumps up the prio list. Depth looks to be there @ DE, but 3t and NT are opportunities.
Rookie Armon Watts also made his presence felt in his first pro game. He split a sack with Everson Griffen and was credited by press box statisticians with three tackles on just seven defensive snaps.
“He got a half-sack and a tackle and he had like six or nine plays or something like that,” Zimmer said. “He played pretty darn good, really. He played pretty good for his first time out. Played the scheme how we’re trying to get him to do it and did well.”

It's a whole lot better for the rookies to get their feet wet now during the regular season than forced into action in the playoffs without any game experience...only if we make it that far. I think we will though.
