Linval & Waynes Sidelined Thursday
After nose tackle Linval Joseph (knee) was not seen at Vikings practice, he limped through the locker room Thursday afternoon and declined an interview request. Head coach Mike Zimmer was mum when asked about Joseph’s availability for Sunday night in Dallas.
“We’ll have to see ,” Zimmer said.
Joseph, 31, was listed as a full participant in Wednesday’s practice before he was sidelined Thursday. He’s played 397 snaps so far and has yet to miss a game in his 10th NFL season.
Zimmer expressed optimism in Waynes playing Sunday after he was limited Wednesday due to an ankle injury. His absence Thursday came with a “not-injury related” designation.
Receiver Adam Thielen (hamstring) remains sidelined.

Not having Linval will be a HUGE loss this Sunday night. This is really bad news. It sounds like he injured his knee in practice? Am I reading that right, since he was a full participant on Wed. and then seen limping around on Thursday? Shit.

Hercules will get leveled by that cowboys line. Losing LJ for this game is a huge blow, I suspect that the Vikes will sell out to stop Zeke now and Prescott with have a career day.
Losing Linval is huge. So is Thielen being out, completely changes the passing game.
So glad we picked up a player unavailable to play. Sound logic there.
With LJ out, I'll assume Stephens moves over the NT spot.
