My early favorite lands in purple...Maybe he supplants Elf, then after a year Reiff...

I think there are beginning to be so many questions about QBs after Burrow and Tua that I'm doubtful Minnesota will grab a QB in round 1 as they can get a guy in round 2 or 3 and see if he can develop. No way Eason is going as early as this guy thinks or Hurts. Herbert would be interesting if he dropped to 15 or so.

I think drafting an OL would be something I'd never complain about. I think Burrow is going to be a very good NFL QB

I dunno...Hurts might be the solid #3 guy...I think every time Lamar Jackson does well that further bumps his stock up...I just don't know...Leatherwood would be a great get...maybe Fromm in the 3rd...

This Draft makes more sense to me:

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/2020-nfl-mock-draft-justin-herbert-slides-but-lands-in-perfect-spot-dolphins-win-to-cost-them-qb/

JMO, but if Herbert slides down into the 20s, Vikings should make the move or pull the trigger to get him. The author is right, he needs to sit one year and he could behind Cousins. The kid is super mobile for being 6'6", 235 lbs. Very athletic. Doesn't get rattled. Really nice arm. Natural talent. But does have some concerns. I just don't think he slides beyond 11 or 12, he's just got too much ability that gets GM's hot and bothered.

6'6" and under 240 that wants to run around sounds like a busted ass waiting to happen in the NFL to me,  but Ive been wrong before.

lol, no its a good point. And one of the concerns on him is durability. I haven't discussed the kid before because I thought he'd be long gone, but maybe not?

running QBs to me are a short term solution to the position,  its like bull riding...not a matter of if you get injured, but a matter of when.  there have been very few QBs that have passed the test of time that run to make a living instead of being more pocket orientated with a mobility kicker.  Wilson in Seattle is about the only one that consistently gets running around that hasnt had a major injury from my memory,  and he is about as thick as anybody I have seen play the position.

He's not a running QB, he's an athletic guy that stands in the pocket. Check out his highlights and you'll see. Its just that when he scrambles, his frame is thinner. He can easily put on some muscle. He's a passer first.

ok, i googled a couple highlight clips and they showed him on the move quite a bit so I assumed that he was one that didnt like the pocket so much.  ASS u ME d
