I had a friend in high school that would get fighting mad if anyone said pro wrestling was fake. Now this was like 1984 and I lived in the upper Midwest, but still. That dude BELIEVED it.
at least in the late 70s early 80s there was actual wrestling technique used by some of the participants along with the theatrics... now... not so much.

They've proven over the years they are good at hauling in dough for themselves. Just not good at producing championship football for the rest of us.
