They're booing Trubisky because he can't hit the broad side of a barn.

I think we had a chance a few weeks ago if we hadn't knocked him out of the game.

Trubisky is sucking ginormous ass, definitely loving the boos. I enjoyed the run back by Patterson. And of course Teddy, it's hard to watch him in a Saints uniform.

You trade up for Trubiski and pass on Watson and Mahomes...I think I'd be doing more than booing...

bros, Zim is going to have to figure out Nagy bc that home game is still going to be the toughest one yet.

If we can beat Chicago, that will be a damn good chance at 8-0 at home, which would be at the worst 11 wins

If you think what the refs did to Det. vs GB was bad, wait until we play GB again.  They'll be flagging the Vikings before the game even starts. "15 yards for breathing!"

I'm curious what other teams are doing to Chicago that we were apparently unable to do/stop?

There but the grace of god...

To dust-off and old phrase;  "I'd have turned in my football fan card if the Bears landed Mahomes"

Exactly, Zimmer took a lot of heat, but it's not that easy to face a completely opposite type QB than was game planned for.

The other problem with the Chicago game was the offense.  Yeah, the D didn't get many stops, but the Viking offense did nothing that day.

I have a feeling Da Bears won't have such an easy time next time we play them.

he deserves a lot of heat,  you have to be able to handle changes from the game plan.  you cant say o shit... well we'll get em next time.  I am sorry but going from a shitty mobile QB to his immobile back up is something our D should feast on,  not be made to look the fools as that career clipboard holder carves them up.

Not play and coach scared against them. Saints didn't care about Chicago yesterday and showed that yes it is possible to block Khalil Mack, run the ball on chicago, and pass at will on Chicago. It has been impossible for the purple for 3 straight games.

Could not agree more.  I know it is a bad time to criticize Zimmer with all the euphoria surrounding 3 straight wins but that loss to the Bears was an eye opener for me.  I knew the offense would struggle because the Bears D is very good but the defense could not handle Daniels??  Then we will hear that we the defense only gave up 16 like that is some kind of victory.  The Bears offense only average 18.7 pts per game.  Over the years we seem to have struggled against backups and even rookie QB's.

I want to see how we play against Matt Moore (Chiefs backup) and then on the road vs the Cowboys.  Those 2 games will be a huge barometer (again for me) of where we are as a team with Zimmer in charge.  Those are 2 playoff caliber teams.  The icing would be then to beat Seattle (in Seattle primetime)!

The Giants, Eagles, Lions and now the Redskins are not good teams.

I want us to prove we can win road games against good teams/playoff caliber so that we are prepared to win a road playoff game!  Making the playoffs with this roster (I am a Spelly fan) and going nowhere is not acceptable to me at this point.

The Chiefs in Arrowhead are a tough out no matter who they have at QB and its sounding like they may have Mahomes back for that game as he is now said to be day to day.  I still have that Chiefs game as an L,  but after that we better be ready to cruise.  I only see 2 more losses in this schedule and thats at Arrowhead and at Seattle.  The rest they better be able to handle although that Cowboys game might be interesting depending on which cowboys team decides to show up.

We all know its not who you play but when you play em...

I dont think the Cowboys will be as easy to play on the road as some of you do, Chiefs too (Mahomes or not).

@ Seattle? When's the last time we won at that stadium? Ever?

As happy as I am with 3 wins in a row, we need some road wins against hot teams for me to truly believe.

2 things.  One, the other team gets paid to do their job as well.  Sometimes they do it better than our team does.
Two, I think your take is a bit simplistic.  Zimmer has built a great D.  And they can adjust series to series.  But much of what they do is built on their game plan, the film they watched and the plan of attack.  And even if they adjust, there is momentum and the other team can make great plays as well.

If you recall, after the first drive and TD in Chicago, their offense didn't do that much even with the offense turning the ball over constantly.  So yeah, that first drive when Mitch got hurt, I can see it taking that time to adjust.

this isnt the first time they have played poorly when they should have feasted.   if you dont want to call it out,  then dont,  but that bears offense should have been destroyed that day and they were walking down the field at will on our high priced D.   I cant over look all the money on that side of the ball and give them to many breaks or excuses.  They are getting paid to be dominant and they certainly have showed less than dominance on more than one occasion this year.
