Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey Traded to Rams for 2 1st-Round Draft Picks, More
James Gilbert/Getty ImagesGreat trade for the Jags. Just wondering how Ramsey is going to help Goff play better??

I wonder how high the asking price was on Trent Williams that made them decide to go this route? We'll find out soon once he gets dealt.
Ramsey is a great player for sure, but that's a pretty penny they spent.
Yeah unless they find two or three more Ramsey quality players, the Lambs are going to struggle. But the Jags made out like a bandit.
This has to be the biggest WTF of the year and that says a lot in a league with Danny snyder and the browns organization.

They may be wrong on their guy, but if they thought they had their replacement in house the move isnt that outrageous. IMO this still trumps that move.@"JimmyinSD" said: This has to be the biggest WTF of the year and that says a lot in a league with Danny snyder and the browns organization. So the Rams gave up more than the Bears did for Mack, really!?
The Rams are really robbing themselves of acquiring cheap young talent by trading all there early draft picks.
It'll be interesting to see if they can stay relevant after this season... at some point their core is going to get old and they won't have any young guys on the rise to replace them.
so they gave up a 2019 2nd and 4th for Peters. They got a reserve LB for Peters.
They gave up a 2021 5th for the center from the Browns.
Now a 1st in 2020 and 2021 and a 4th in 2021.
This is reaching Herchel Walker type stuff.

And dont forget they traded their 2018 first for Brandin Cooks.
Rams are screwed, super dumb trade giving up first round picks 2 years in a row.
Their biggest issue is O-line:
https://theramswire.usatoday.com/2019/10/02/rams-offensive-line-woes/
They lost Roger Saffold. LT Whitworth is at end of his career at 37.
It looks like the moves of a team that thinks they are definitely superbowl bound.
The problem here is their o-line isn't the same. Have they just gone full Thelma & Louise with this Ramsey trade?
I'm thinking if this gambit doesn't pay off, they could be stewing in mediocrity for the next... 3 years? while they are forced to drop premium players and scour waivers for o-line talent like the vikes did for the last 5-10 years.
What if they go a cowboy-esque 8-8? Ramsey will hate it and want out so he can 'win' somewhere else. I'm wary of elite players who demand trades, in general.
