Going to the bears game Sunday
Didn't plan on going because I spent a bundle going to Soldier field last year and the Vikings didn't show up until the 4th quarter but I was planning on being in the Chicago area and someone posted on FB that they had 1 lower level ticket up for grabs so here I go.
One thing I WILL NOT do is wear my new Cook jersey. The only time I have ever worn it on game day was against the packers so that jersey will never again be worn on game day.
Also going to the KC game this year and I splurged on tickets behind the Vikings bench.
Have fun. Be careful. Going to Soldier Field is scary enough but going without back up may be dangerous.
Carry an extra kielbasa in case the Bear fans chase you after we win. You know, just throw it to distract them. They can't resist sausage! ;)

I did not "splurge" ….. but will be making the trip South for that KC game as well! :)
I've been to Vikings games in at least 15 different stadiums. I've never had trouble anywhere except bears games. Once in Champaign and this will be my 4th or 5th at chicago. So far I haven't gotten my ass kicked yet. I try to stay low profile in Chicago.

Same rules for me. That's probably why I've never had trouble anywhere except bears games. Seems like someone always wants to start a fight at bears games. So far I've been able to talk my way out every time
I've had good experiences with Rams, Cards, Chargers and Niners fans over the years...
Raiders fans are complete D bags. Released from solitary for three hours every other Sumday.
The chargers game several years ago (first game of season, when Harvin ran back opening kickoff and McNasty threw for 26 yards or whatever) there was a guy dressed as a Viking....full regalia...beard, stache, outfit....looked better than Ragnar.
Anyway, the guy had a few, but Chargers fans all wanted pics with the guy...some dumb ass Charger fan called security on him for some stupid reason....Vikes and Chargers fans alike tried to convince security that he didn't do anything wrong. Nonetheless security escorted him out.
Some people check their brains at the gate on game day
Never had a problem in Chicago...green bay on the other hand...had a guy half my size swing at me totally unprovoked...was in my BIL season tickets, otherwise they'd still be blotting up the guy...
