Drew Brees update
#Saints QB Drew Brees has a torn ligament in his throwing thumb and he’s going to require surgery, sources say. The timeframe depends on the surgery, but he’s likely out 6 weeks. That’s the initial estimate.

They play next week at Seattle: good luck with that, Theodore Bridgewater....you'll need it.
It will be interesting to see how Teddy does. If it were not the Saints I would be rooting for him. I don't think stepping into the game against the Rams is a fair assessment and he certainly will face a challenge vs. upcoming opponents in the Seahawks and Cowboys.
Brees looked like crap in that game before he got hurt. So Teddy gets his chance to show he's the Saints QBOTF...or not.
Teddy has a hell of a supporting cast and coach...
If he can't make it here? At Seattle is pretty brutal, but TB isn't a rookie either.

This is why a missed call like the one in the NFC CG was so crucial. Nobody guaranteed a golden tix the next year. Brees out 6 weeks "could" be disaster for them.
Sure wish I could root for Teddy the player now, but I just can't wearing that fleur de lis.

Don't have anything against TB, but I hope they lose every game. Would love to see them and the Steelers watch the playoffs on TV this year.

Is Hill anything other than a gimmick? Kinda reminded me of that running back read option that was all the fad years ago.
