In 2018, no team gave up more receiving yards to running backs than the Atlanta Falcons. This is not just an outlier either. Falcons were dead last in this stat in 2017 as well. And 2016. And 2015. 4 straight years. That's a pretty remarkable streak that would be pretty hard to keep going even if you tried.

Actually, it would be really easy to keep going if they truly tried.  Of course they wouldn't win very many games completely ignoring every running back that runs downfield. :p

Guy on the radio is a HUGE Falcon fan and last year he said their D were like Walmart greeters.

That's Incredible.

You would think a guy who has a defensive background could show some improvement.

Must be something about their attacking D.  Quinn is still the HC there and it is probably a result of trying to run the seahawks D without the benefit of great LBs. 

Teams check down against the pressure and the LBs or DBs can't tackle well enough to shut down the RBs.
