Antonio Brown and GM Mike Mayock got into it Wednesday, and the team is now planning to suspend its star wide receiver, league sources tell ESPN.

But if he is cut and all his guarantees have voided, then they do not have to pay him anything.
With our luck he'd end-up in the NFC North...

...in purple...

Oh no. That is an AFC North team.

Rumor is that Brown called Mayock some hardcore shit and its extremely doubtful he'll end up remaining a Raider. I guess he just went apeshit on Mayock with the insults and aggressiveness. Stay tuned.

No doubt. He'll definitely end up in the NFC, which as become the "majors" compared to the AFC's Triple A status. It's freaking ridiculous.

dunno, imagine two alpha divas in GB.  The first time either makes a mistake, it would make the Cold War seem like global warming.

Mayock would get his ass kicked, he's 61 years old and has leaned out the last year or so. Brown is 30 years his junior and a current NFL athlete.
it was a joke Francis.....

This would get anyone fired from their jobs in a nanosecond:

In this story,
@JosinaAnderson reports that Antonio Brown called Raiders GM Mike Mayock a "cracker" during the altercation. I heard (and mentioned this on T&R this AM) he also called him a "bitch" as part of his tirade.

Big decision coming for Oakland.

Antonio Brown attends Raiders team meeting, gives “emotional apology”

Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown is back at the team facility today, trying to make amends.
Brown attended a team meeting this morning and issued “an emotional apology,” Josina Anderson of ESPN reports.
The Raiders’ team captains, who reportedly told Jon Gruden that they would back him on whatever he wants to do with Brown, stood with Brown at the team meeting.
Whether the Raiders are willing to accept that apology or not remains to be seen. General Manager Mike Mayock, who was targeted for verbal abuse by Brown, seems ready to move on. Gruden, however, has final say in Oakland, and he may be willing to give Brown one more chance. That’s what Brown is asking for.

Losing all that guaranteed money made him very emotional.

I can just imagine him sitting at home, pulling up his
tablet with a big grin on his face anticipating all the love he was going to
get from social media and the news, and then all he’s reading is article after
article about all the things he’s done, how crazy he is, and how it sets him up
for losing his entire contract he just negotiated, which by the way kudos to
ever negotiated it for the team.  That is
some major foresight.

I just struggle to imagine how this is going to get better
by locking in his salary for the year.
It just seems like being in a relationship you hate, and then choosing
to have a kid and get married to strengthen the relationship.

Well, he's the Raider's problem now.  It doesn't really affect me one way or the other... except for the grumpy old man in me that wants to see people suffer the consequences for their choices (if- for no other reason- as a warning to others: to not do those same things).

Well, now the Raiders get to suffer the consequences for their choice.

Antonio Brown posted a video of coach Jon Gruden asking him if he still "wants to be a Raider."It's not clear when the talks took place. Brown threatened to retire this summer over his helmet battle, so it's possible this is an early training camp conversation and not the recent fallout with GM Mike Mayock. The video is the latest off-field distraction from Brown, who was fined this week and was facing a team-imposed suspension. Brown still looks on track to play in Week 1 against the Broncos.
