It sounds like the team is attempting to trade him up until final cuts need to be made. It would save us cap space if we could do it compared to an outright release.
But yeah, he won't be making the final 53.
Not officially released yet.......at least no where I see. I agree with Wetlander, we try to trade him up to the deadline, then release him if cant trade.
