Vikings release WR Jordan Taylor and CB Bene Benwikere
.....per Chad Graff
I actually thought Taylor would be in the mix until the end. To be honest, he really didn't do much in games, but I do believe he was injured most of this preseason.
I'll bet Zylstra is breathing a bit easier. I think he makes the team again.
Watching Taylor, he looks kind of fragile out on the field.
Taylor did really nothing of note in preseason... obviously that's only a small part us fans get to see, but I never read anything in the training camp reports about him either.
There were some remarks during OTAs about how Taylor was catching well and really in sync with the playbook, but nothing more. I'm a bit surprised, as he had the Kubiak connections and seemed like he was hand-picked to be our #3 WR. But Kendall Wright was picked for that role last year...

But once the pads came on, he disappeared (at least from the media notice)

definitely done to give them every chance to hook on somewhere else. And I think it must mean we will be looking at the the waiver wire for CBs
