Anyone here seen the Vikings play in a SB?
I saw the 2nd and 3rd but went skiing the 4th. Odd that I could care less for the last one.
All 4. And the three others where they should have gone. And of those three, they likely would have won 2 of them.

You are all so lucky, at least you saw them get there. I was two years too late.
I don't remember KC, but I vividly remember Miami, Pittsburgh and Oakland and the tears that followed each one.
Lot of 1960s here. Saw them all .Dont remember the first well. Who would have thought during that decade we would still be waiting now.

Yup. I became a Vike fan during the 69-70 season. Saw the SB's and have the emotional scars to prove it. Luckily, years of drinking have blunted most of those memories. I can't even watch the highlights (lowlights?) on YouTube.
Also born in 1960. I remember being crushed at losing to KC. I was sure we were going to win. I believe we opened the next season vs. KC and beat them in the rematch. I'm sure KC was happy with the split. I was nowhere near so optimistic for the other 3. Now, 1998 ...
I saw all 4. Its what makes me nervous for them to get there again. I cannot take another loss
I have not. 4 NFCCG heartbreaks for me to proudly hang my hat on though :/
Born in 1960---suffered through them all and watched our hearts be ripped out by the knee and the screw job of NO

Born in '63. All of them on TV. BRUTAL, one and all. They kept getting progressively worse. The Raiders' ass-whooping was by far the most painful, as my cousin down the street was a Raiders fan. Listening to his shit for the next few years was not a good time. Making it worse was the Vikings steady decline into mediocrity, while the Raiders stayed relevant playoff contenders, winning the SB again a few seasons later.
Seen all 4 but only remember the last 3. Been a Viking fan my whole life. The first one I can remember was vs the Dolphin's. My brother's team... ugh, not a fun time around the house. Next up the Steelers. Coulda, shoulda, woulda that game all damn day. Both brother's gave me shit for days again. The other brother's team is the packers. Then the Raiders game. Fugly game.... and guess what? That Dolphin lovin' brother from a few years back... was a Raiders fan by then and has been since. Lots of 0-4 jokes followed. Both of my brother's teams have won multiple Super Bowls. Me... I'm stuck being a Viking's fan... and would like to see them in the Super Bowl again... can't win one if you don't get there. I don't care it they go 0-10 before the win comes. Just get there and see what happens.
