It's a small sample size in a meaningless preseason game, but EG didn't show much. Perhaps he is saving himself for the regular season or trying to stay healthy, but there didn't seem to be much effort.
And though not much can be determined from a brief showing, in a game of little value for a veteran, Vikings fans may wonder if there is cause for concern. After all, he has not been as good for the last season and a half.
We have heard he has had a great off season and been his same old self, so I hope that is true.
But it didn't show up against the Saints.
How much did he actually play? Not any concern yet on my part.
I'm not down with what they're paying EG, but hell it aint my $$$
That said, it's only PS Game 1, I'll take the good/bad/ugly with a grain of salt right now.
I think it's still early days yet and I'm not concerned. He has been working hard with his teammates and coaches as well as working hard on improving himself. Part of one game is a very small sample size.
