OT - Does any one like greasy, sleazy rock
like L.A. Guns, Faster Pussycat, Buckcherry, etc.
Check these guys out. I partied with them last weekend. They started their tour here in Greenville. They're called "Framing the Red".
My good friend owns a sound production business and was running their sound. I bought their new cd and jammed on it for a few days, then went to see them. They were great. Really down to earth dudes and they rock.
It just thrills my soul that there still is original rock out there. You just have to go find it. So I try to "play it forward".
Needs a good stereo to fully appreciate. They call their music "southern sleaze"

Well, I can't seem to post a video link. I don't come here enough to remember this stuff.
If anyone is interested. Youtube "White Trash- - Low Life" and "Mississippi Hippie"
I'll check 'em out next time I get some time...but I'm all about some greasy, sleazy, bluesy hard rock.
I just checked them out and they rock!
Thanks for the tip.
BOOM
Chris Hawkey used to always get ripped about liking Buckcherry on the Powertrip. This large unfit guy at work, named Pugsley wears one of their Tshirts, not really sure how he feels about them, he doesn't speak in full sentences, but I think he likes them.

I found that hilarious for some reason.
SCVike, I am gonna delete the other thread you put in the how to forum.
Well I have 3 LA Guns CD's and Buckcherry's debut so you named the right references to make me curious. But any similarity to Faster Pussycat had better NOT include the lead singer.

:p
LOL. I have seen LA Guns, Faster Pussycat and Buckcherry numerous times, the first two back in the 80s heydays of hair metal.
First time I saw Buckcherry was at a music festival and I was completely unfamiliar with them. At the time they were setting upI was walking across the back of the festival at the vendor booths.
They started playing and I immediately started walking toward the stage. My wife asked why. "These are my people," I replied. Been a fan ever since.
