The kid won't fully remember it but a photo like that down the road will mean the world to him. Good job on showing one of life's more important sides

I have a good friend who played pro basketball in Europe and Asia. There is a great picture hanging in the family room of him in uniform walking off the court with his two very young kids holding his hands. 
The shot is taken from behind them, and honestly is one of the coolest photos like that I’ve seen.
Both of those kids are in college now.
