Just curious what the board thinks Trader Rick will do tonight?

Rick never trades up in the 1st. We'll either stay put or trade down. Most likely is staying put.

If we get a good OLineman at 18, I could see Rick trading back into the first to take the DT Simmons if he's still available late.
Getting the 5th year option for a guy who will miss most of his rookie year is going to be key for some team I think. Maybe that team will be us.

Option #5 : keep trading down until you get the coveted FIVE 6th & 7th round picks.

I know the dude is insane with talent. But I mean he wasn't even invited to the combine and he is now going to be a first round pick? The guy beat the shit out of a woman 3 years ago. It was way worse than the Hunt, Mixon, and Ray Rice situations IMO. I just don't really want this sort of guy on the Vikings.

It was in no way, shape or form worse than Mixon or Rice, who were only protecting their egos, not their sister.

Maybe trade up 2 or 3 spots but nothing major, that is our m.o. over the years.

I am not sure why people are confident in this current regimes ability to identify good offensive linemen. Here are the picks since Spielman assumed fool control ... Year, Player, Round 2012, Matt Kalil, 1 2013, Jeff Baca, 6 2013, Travis Bond, 7 2014, David Yankey, 5 2015, TJ Clemmings, 4 2015, Tyrus Thompson, 6 2015, Austin Shepherd, 7 2016, Willie Beavers, 4 2017, Pat Elflein, 3 2017, Danny Isidora, 5 2018, Brian O'Neill, 2 2018, Colby Gossett, 6 ... that is pretty scary.  Only O'Neill is showing promise.  Hopefully Elflein rebounds this year otherwise he would be a bust. The only prayer is that Kubiak and Dennison will bring a different perspective.

Silly boy. FACTS won't sway the Rychophants' ill conceived perception of their personnel guru!

13 seasons, 2 playoff wins? Pish-posh, my good man! Have you no understanding of how  much more important OTHER statistics are as opposed to this ridiculous and highly over rated thing called PLAYOFF SUCCESS?! Who gives a damn about THAT? I wants me some Pro Bowlers like Cordarelle, Blair and Teddy. The 7 draft selections utilized for those 3 Pro Bowlers was absolutely worth the exorbitant draft expenditure. How dare for you to expect more!

I am shocked, shocked I say!!

I'm also shocked you didn't include the equally  scary record at QB during Schpielman's career (not only here, but Chicago and Miami, too). But I'll overlook that....for today only!
