Thank you all. I really appreciate it. So the latest is the chest xrays are clear. There is no pneumonia. She is going home tonight. It has been a chaotic week but I am feeling better now. I am grateful for everyone that has reached out in their own unique ways to let me know that they are rooting for her.

Agreed. Moms are awesome. My mom is the best. She is such an inspiration. She beat cancer when my son was little. She has always been a fighter. I am just feeling very relieved and thankful right now.

How old is she?

My mom is 81. She is at home now. There will be follow up and there are still some questions. 

I hadn't heard cuz I been kinda busy.  I am so glad to hear she's at home and healing. Hopefully any questions will be minor.  You still got thoughts and prayers as always :)

Sorry to hear that VG, but glad to hear that the chest X-rays were clear.  Hopefully you get the best possible answers to your other questions as well.

Have them check for a hiatal hernia---that can excaberate sp? a cough

We just buried my 89 year old MIL last week. She had a wonderful run. It's tough when parents get this old, tougher if you have to bury em too soon. My mother didn't even make 50. 

All we can hope for (for them and us) is quality for whatever time the good lord giveth.
