Being uber-wealthy leads to a certain level of paranoia, but at the same time, you are a target. Home invasion when the owner is home is usually rare (outside of South Africa) but if you have the money, why wouldn't you go the extra mile?

There are no inheritance taxes or estate taxes under Florida law. This applies to the estates of any decedents who have passed away after December 31, 2004. If an individual's death occurred prior to that time, then an estate tax return would need to be filed.

I don't know about living in those luxurious mansions. A guy I knew lived in an absolutely humongous mansion with 5 kitchens! But all he did was complain about it.
He said he never knew where his next meal was coming from....
