Devin Bush anybody??

An offensive lineman might be the biggest need for the Minnesota Vikings, but with Devin Bush on the board and Anthony Barr set to become a free agent, it makes sense to load up on a rangy, athletic linebacker when available.
Bush has developed into a force at linebacker since being a top high school recruit three seasons ago. He might not have great height at a listed 5'11", but his 240-pound frame is stout. Paired with his excellent athleticism and instincts, Bush has all the tools to be an impressive rookie starter as a three-down impact player.
The NFL is trending toward linebackers who can rush, cover and blitz; Bush does all of those well.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
I will always advocate for best player available among our needs. That said, this year looks like a pretty good year for OL value at 18. Of course last year looked pretty good, too, until players like Miller, Ragnow and Price went well above where they were projected to. That's the thing. OL is such a problem around the league that same thing could happen this year.
Given what was left on the board I probably wouldn't go Bush given the scenario. Ford or Jawaan Taylor definitely provide more value. However from a scheme fit and need standpoint I've had Bush ranked very highly in my mind as a potential fit. He fixes the Vikings biggest flaw on defense and has a good amount of upside. As a player he doesn't have nearly the pass rushing potential as Barr but could be much better in the open field and in coverage. But if you think about how the Vikings rush the passer if he is schemed open on a pass rush he can kill the QB.
