Report: Raiders to Play 2019 Season at San Francisco Giants' Oracle Park
The Oakland Raiders will remain in the Bay Area for the 2019 season but will reportedly play in San Francisco.
According to Raj Mathai of NBC Bay Area, the team will play its home games in Oracle Park, the current home of the San Francisco Giants.
However, NBC Sports Bay Area's Alex Pavlovic reported the Giants are "under the impression that the Raiders still were checking on two other potential sites." The NFL and the San Francisco 49ers must approve the move.
The franchise has spent the last 24 years in Oakland but is set to relocate to Las Vegas in 2020.

I'm surprised they wouldn't work something out to play next year in Sam Boyd stadium, where UNLV plays. Get into the Vegas area and start building the fan base. Capacity is a little lower than Oracle but they are generating as much hostility as loyalty in the Bay. Maybe that's one of the "two other potential sites" mentioned.

It figures that when even finding a temporary stadium they will end up playing on a baseball field.  Thankfully the Vikings have them at home this season*. 

* happy to finally call it "this season"

One of the problems playing at the Giants Ballpark is that the teams would have to share the sideline. Kind of a pain int the ass for both teams. Also - Niners will ask for another SB if this happens - San Francisco is their territorial rights and they are not going to give it up for one season without getting something huge in return.

The San Francisco 49ers play in Santa Clara, and the Oakland Raiders of Las Vegas play in San Francisco. Totally makes sense.
