That whole playoff season--Saints, 49ers, even the Washington game--is probably the most fun I've had as a Viking fan. Wilson was awesome in all.

Sad to hear.

He was living with type 1 diabetes. He had an issue with a related infection years back; not sure if his passing is related.

was at the LAR game threw the Hail Mary to Hassan Jones for the win.

Last Viking QB and team to manage at least 2 consecutive playoff wins. Let that fact marinate a little.

RIP Wade. You were responsible for the last truly enjoyable Viking playoff season that I have witnessed. Thanks for the memories.

Sad. As was stated above, the last QB to win two playoff games in one season for this franchise. Seemed well liked and touched a lot of people that certainly says something.
