Kubiak had a lot of input into Bronco decisions in the last couple of years, but it sounds like his offensive philosophy is at odds with Elway's. One thing about Kubiak is that he's a BIG time ZBS guy, which would mesh well with what the Vikings have been trying to do with their OL, Cook, etc.
Go figure...the Vikings set up their zone blocking, draft Cook who specialized in outside zone runs, use it to great effect before Cook tore his ACL, and then pretty much abandoned it this year.
Elway is a disaster.
I just realized Cousins is a Kubiak clone in terms of the latter's playing style when he was a Bronco qb. I saw a lot of him living in Colorado. In those days, viewing choices were limited.
Maybe he would be a god fit?
