I stumbled across this statistic looking at something else and it took me off guard.
Fun fact:
George Edwards will/would become the 2nd longest tenured Defensive Coordinator in Vikings' history in his 6th season.
The only man to have held the Vikings Defensive Coordinator position longer? Bob Hollway, who was in charge from 1978-1983 under Bud Grant. His 7th season as Defensive Coordinator came in 1985.
Floyd Peters was the only d-coordinator to hold down 5 years: 1986-1990 under Jerry Burns. The 4 year mark is taken by: Dungy, Fazio, and Frazier.
