Wide left was bad enough, but a double-doink? Man, poor kid.

I said to my friend after the timeout, watch he misses it. Wow just wow. Yeah he will probably be gone.

I've always thought calling a timeout there to ice kickers was dumb.....

youre giving them more time to line up / get their footing and timing...

let them THINK you're gonna ice them, then let 'em swing away...

I guess thats why I'm just a teacher

Big lesson here. If you are in the playoffs and week 17 you have nothing to play for and if you lose you get the weaker team the following week, then LOSE!

Ah...the life of a kicker.   Guess that's why most play for a half dozen teams in their careers. I'm sure Parkey will like free agency.

But Filthadelphia was very lucky.  Kicking off to a guy like Cohen was f****** stupid. And that poor little corner for the Iggles got scorched all game and almost cost them.

My thinking also...

So.....do I want to breathe life into the SB champs when they are getting hot....
or a lukewarm Vikings squad.

Bears would be still alive, and once again we falter in the playoffs.

Dude made $3.75 million this year.  Let the league in hitting uprights.  Be surprised if he is still around come start of next year.

Bears had it in their own hands to be playing the Rams this coming Saturday. Too bad.

I was actually hoping he'd make that kick, so...  of course it was my fault he missed.  Sorry Bears.  B)

I know this sounds like bull shit,  but I told my kid when the bears took the lead that the iggles would win on a missed bears FG to end the game.  dont know why,  but its just how I saw that one playing out and I called it...

I call BS...

J/K. I know this is sacrilege, but I kinda like that team the Bears have put together. Don't think Mitchell has a very high ceiling, but doesn't have to be Rogers with a Defense like that.

I told my bears fan future SIL that if they can get a better QB or if Trubisky makes a decent improvement before next year that they will be unstopable.   He throws a beautiful ball down the sidelines,  but his accuracy on the crossing and underneath stuff is horrible and teams will make those adjustments.  he just doesnt seem comfortable throwing into tight windows without a safe place to over throw to like the back of the endzone or out of bounds.

The Bears really remind me of Jacksonville from last season...

Great defense with plenty of guys that like to talk...  A very good running game...  With a young inconsistent QB that struggles with accuracy.

It'll be interesting to see if Trubisky can level out his play or if he becomes the next Blake Bortles.

Reminds me of the 2015 Vikings...

There now appears to be more Franchise QBs in the NFL than reliable Kickers.

The downfall of the NFL kicker coincided with moving the extra point back and making it a 33 yard attempt.
