Serious question: have you not seen the video... where they panned across multiple garage doors?  Every one of them had a "noose" hanging from it.  Are you suggesting that someone went to every rope and purposefully made it look like a noose?  Is it possible that that's just the best way to form a "loop" that won't open up when it is being pulled on constantly?

Whats real hard to find is the hanging presidential effigies in the US prior to Obama.  There is allot of G. W. Bush effigies being lynched abroad, but not here in the US.  Wonder where all this came from? 

I'm not denying the presence of racists in this country.  I don't go searching for effigies so don't really follow the history.  I do think it is wrong (hanging/burning effigy) in any context.  I wouldn't say that the left in the US is any better than the left in Europe, probably happened here as well or similar sort treatment (just a guess).
