I was going to say this seems horribly bizarre, however...

The Washington Redskins issued a statement Thursday requesting privacy for Alex Smith and his family 

so no comment  ;)

Sucks for Smith. He seems like a decent guy who always was under appreciated. Much like the guy he replaced there. 
Now that I got the niceness out of the way.  Bet you're damn glad you didn't lock up Cousins long term now ain't ya Danny. Oh and good luck catching Dallas with Sanchez as your QB. This is why your team always sucks.
