Bradford released
Vikings won't get any draft compensation because of this move.
Those 1st and 4th round picks just keep looking better and better.....
Everything about Bradford cost us. What a awful trade that turned into. 1 healthy season no playoff wasted a 1st round pick and now no compensation pick because he sucked at his new stop. Bradford is the gift that keeps on taking.
This from someone who really hoped he'd work out for us.

I read some stat that Bradford has made almost $127 million in his career. He might not have a winning record, but that is WINNING
Aren't veteran contracts guaranteed after week one if they are on the roster? why would his release now change the scope of the contract ? Was it mostly bonuses that now can't be achieved?
dude is a magician
His parting gift would be a grand total of $15.9375 million for three games in Arizona, via a $10 million signing bonus, $5 million guaranteed salary, $937,500 in per-game roster bonuses. That fact along could be the catalyst for owner Michael Bidwill to make major offseason changes for the Cardinals
Sam and agent definitely are no dummies. He can surely afford to ride off into the sunset.
Really interested to see if he gets another shot somewhere. Seems unlikely, but I didn't think he would get a deal last March, let alone at the beginning of free agency. I think there remains some fascination with his arm talent and someone will blame his bad time in Arizona on Vince Tobin, on the bad OL, whatever, and Sam will get another shot. He could be in Jacksonville next week.
