Quarter in...You bullish on Vikings keeping the North Crown?
Me too. Not sure about this team yet. Nice to see them pop back, but questions remain. The injuries are always annoying, but I guess that's the same for every team.
Not sure about bullish necessarily, but I'm cautiously hopeful. Big game Sunday night.
always bullish on the Vikings. Right up until I get eaten by the bear.
I think the Vikes are better now, but will continue to improve. Once the offense and defense are both clicking, the Vikes win the North again.
I'm picking the Vikes to win Sunday too.
Everson back will help, but we've gotta get / stay healthy
I'm feeling it. We are the best team in the division. I believe that without my purple glasses. The NFC as a whole is not the juggernaut we were expecting so far. Other teams that started slow may come on as well. No reason to think we couldn't. I think it's already started. However you better talk to me Monday morning to be sure. Still the North crown? Yeah it's ours let them try and take it.
If they maintain the play of the last three weeks, they should be favored to win all but 3 of their remaining games: Saints, Patriots, Seahawks. That gets them to 10-5-1 and good enough to win it. Win at least 1 of those 3 and they have breathing room to get upset by the Bears or someone. I think 10 wins can take this division.
That's assuming there are no more games like the Bills, of course.

Honestly we should be favored to beat the Saints and Seahawks. Our D and homefield advantage plus their poor pass defense should give us the edge against the Saints. The Seahawks are not that good. They can't run, their o-line sucks and their D is a shadow of a shadow of their former D.
I know but I took the over on our annual bet at 11 wins so I need more than just hold the course
A real NFL kicker and this team is 5-2. Yeah, I think we'll win the division, but it won't be easy. The Rams are the best in the NFC, then us. But injuries will have the final say in who goes to the Super Bowl.
Are people forgetting that the Vikings were driving to tie the game in the final minutes of the Rams game? In Los Angeles. There isn’t a team in the league they can’t, at the very least, compete with. This is the Vikings’ year.

I don't know about you, but I had two different feelings in the Rams and Eagles game, for example. Against the Rams I felt they were the better team and we were fortunate to have kept it that close.
Against the Eagles, I felt that we were the better team and they were fortunate to have kept it as close as it was. I fear only one team in the NFC and that's the Rams. That doesn't mean that we can't beat them, tho.
I'm surprised, most the media 'experts' are picking the Vikings in a close one.
I’m bullish on the Vikes, although I’m not as
confident as last year. I think the
Bears and Packers both stepped up their games this year. We’re better than both of them, but it will
be pretty close at the end of the season, and I don’t think we have much room
for miscues going forward.
for me... i am past wanting to win the north, i wanted to see a home field scenario throughout. anything less is....well less than expected and IMO a disappointment. not winning the north is completely unacceptable IMO.

This is exactly how I feel, though I do think the Saints are very good. They have Ingram back now to pair with Kamara and I'm still not totally sold on our run defense-- especially without Barr and possibly Linval this week.
If we play hard and lose to the Saints I'll be bummed, but we just need to get healthy and ultimately the remaining NFCN games will decide our fate.
... but a win Sunday would be sweet B)
Next 6 games:
Saints
Lions
@ Bears
Packers
@ Patriots
@ Seahawks
Does anyone have a more difficult schedule than the Vikings this year? Sheesh
Gotta beat the best I guess...

Lets do 4-2 in this stretch. Puts us at 8-4-1 for the down wind run.
