Looks like no Cook, Griffen or Morgan Sunday vs. Bills
Griffen is the biggest loss there. We can make do with Murray and Boone. Hunter, Weatherly, Bower et al need to step up.
Get the W and stay healthy. thats the goal for Sunday
2-0-1 and ready for that statement game

Zimmer Rules Out Cook, Griffen; Says Elflein Will Play vs. BillsEAGAN, Minn. — Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer on Friday ruled out running back Dalvin Cook and defensive end Everson Griffen for Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills.
Cook suffered a hamstring injury at Green Bay last week and did not practice any day this week.
Griffen (knee) also did not practice this week.

Vikings’ Dalvin Cook To Miss TimeSeptember 21st, 2018 at 1:00pm CST by Zach Links

Cook injured his hamstring last week in last week’s tie against the Packers. The injury may cost Cook time beyond this weekend’s game, as coach Mike Zimmer says that his availability is up in the air for the team’s short turnaround against the Rams on Thursday.
This was expected to be a bounce back season for Cook, but he has yet to find his footing in 2018. Cook averaged just 2.5 yards per carry in the Vikings’ season opener against the 49ers and he had just 38 yards rushing in last week’s contest against Green Bay.
The good news for the Vikings is that they can rely on Latavius Murray, one of the more talented RB2s in the NFL, to fill the void for however long Cook is out. They also have Michael Boone, and Roc Thomas on the roster, plus fullback C.J. Ham, so they might not have to go out-of-house for depth.
Post ACL nagging leg injuries always seem to be a bitch. Makes what Peterson did here even more special.
Time to test Boone and Thomas. A lot of fans have been penciling in Cook to return as a game-changing back, but the first two games leave me unconvinced.

It hasn't even been a year for Cook his injurie and surgery....he was convincing lots of people before he got hurt last year.

He just hasn't had much room to run between the tackles... it's more if a run blocking issue IMO.

That is indeed the hope and the plan by the team for sure. Does it just seem like it or does Griffen have nagging injuries each year recently? I think the plan, if I'm not mistaken, is to move Hunter over to EG's side and put Weatherly in at Hunter's spot. Hunter might feast over there.
Griffen has been hurt off and on since the 2016 season.
