Cripes...Anywhere but The NFC North
Khalil Mack, Not Mitchell Trubisky, Is Driving Force Behind Bears' Turnaround
Chicago Bears' identity throughout the franchise's history has been built around its defense. The story remains the same, even after the additions of quarterback Mitchell Trubisky and offensive-minded head coach Matt Nagy.
The organization's latest addition, Khalil Mack, will define its direction throughout the season and into the future. His performances during his first two games with the franchise have been nothing short of spectacular, appearing worthy of every dollar of the $141 million contract the Bears inked him to, while Trubisky continues to provide inconsistent play.
On the night the Bears honored Brian Urlacher at halftime by presenting his Ring of Excellence after being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Chicago captured a 24-17 victory over the Seattle Seahawks, and Mack showed why he's on his way to becoming the next well-known Monster of the Midway.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
Bears defense is the best in the North after 2 games. They attack.

Vikings need to get their running game going.
I didn't watch much of the game last night, but Seattle looked dominated. Are they a really bad team, or is Chicago really good? Maybe a bit of both?

Seattle is a bad team, even their fans know it. The bears haven't beaten anyone of note, So I would wait before crowning their ass.
Seattle's OL looked completely over-matched. And, unless Elf comes back soon, we aren't going to look much different. Green Bay got too much pressure on Cousins- and I don't think that they're the best DL we're going to see.
Mack has a chip the size of Illinois on his shoulder right now. He's going to mutilate everyone in his path. I imagine he sees an image of Chucky on every face he lines up against.
I'd take our O agains their D over their O against our D.
Seattle offense was completely outplayed, even when Mack was getting a breather the were dominated. The Bears have a damn good defense. Of course the Seahawks look pretty bad right now.
was just hassling a Seahawk fan asking when they were going to sign Carlson. Said we would include Treadwell in the deal.
Our D is above average, but not the machine we or they thought they were. Seems to be something a little lacking from where we were.
Relax or should I say pump the breaks...Trubiski is average at best for a second year player and that is not good enough.
Our OL is light years better then the Hawks. Not saying we are Top 10 but we are not 32nd either which is the Hawks...maybe Giants but just bottom of the barrel.
Do you guys watch other games and their OL's or are you in a prism of just constant complaing? Don't answer I know :)
