So Were We, Laquon
First game!?!
Its been three years.
on the bright side, at least he has a broken up a pass to add to his stats.
You know, The one intended for Rudolph that he batted away.
Hey, can't you be satisfied with a win?? j/k, that's what I was told when I brought up my Treadwell thread. :p
I still have some hope that he might get some chemistry with KC...

To me he looks better, but I guess we'll see.
I'm waiting for the red-zone looks. With his size and the hops he had in college, he should make some CB's life hell on fade routes.

The biggest thing about his first drop is that he ran the wrong route. Do players, even good ones, make mistakes in games? Sure. But not if they have physical attributes which are only borderline for the NFL. Treadwell's 6'2" - that isn't ovewhelming in today's NFL, not exactly Mike Evans. His speed - enough has been said. Point is, if a WR has only okay size and average speed, his routes better be PERFECT.
In my opinion the guy’s in his head too much. He needs to forget where he was drafted and just play the game. I think he overanalyzes and it leads to mistakes. We know he can play, he was excellent in college. Watching him live in the preseason he was consistently getting open and was much improved. As soon as the pressure starts he’s back to his hyper critical self. I don’t worry about the speed, thats not his game. Plenty of guys with his speed being productive. He could be great in the slot and should be a first down machine. We need to see his fight for the ball desire like he had in college.

Maybe it's in the OP's link, but I heard Laquon and Rudolph were jawing at each other after a play because of the wrong route...He keeps that up and he wont be #3 WR for long. I just hope we're not going to be longing for Jarius Wright at all this year

Running the wrong route is not the same as running bad routes. I do agree that his route running needs to be on point, but him making a mistake or not hearing the call isn't an indication that his route running sucks.

C'mon. You can't be serious. Hit him right in the hands!
Give him 2 or 3 games and then assess if he's cutting bait or fishing
He was a good college player but might be in the deep end as an nfler.

Yeah, a crappy, wobbly pass that did hit him in the hands. Treadwell would've been tackled about 5 yards short of the 1st anyway. Catch or not, that play wasn't going to be a game changer.

But it appears he was in the wrong place and interfered with a pass intended for Rudolph - who did have a good chance to make a 1st down.
Personally getting really tired of waiting for the Treadwell break-out. We're in year three, if it doesn't happen soon it ain't gonna happen.

No, but this one definitely was!His ass needs to be on the bench or cut.
Killed one drive with a terrible drop, and gave up a game-killing turnover with another.
Who wants to keep defending his sorry ass?

And it looks like he just ran the wrong route on 2nd down in OT for an incompletion.
And just dropped one the next play on 3rd down that would have gotten us a closer FG attempt.
Why he was still in the F-ing game at that point is beyond me!!!!!!!!!!
