George Iloka
A stunner: The #Bengals are releasing starting safety George Iloka, per @MikeGarafolo and me. He’s started every game he’s played in since 2013. Purely a financial decision, but a 28-year-old safety hitting the market at this point is good news for interested teams.

Gotta believe Zimmer will be interested, and feeling could be mutual. Can we afford him? I think Bengals are eating a big chunk of his guaranteed money.
Could be a good move, but do you risk lockerroom chemistry on the top ranked D from last year by replacing a starter this close to the end of camp?
I think Zimmer likes him very much....but some team will make him a much better offer or have more true interest than Minnesota.
why woild we want anyone but dejo starting. he’s a beast.

It may also be that Zimmer sees Iloka in Harrison Smith's role - enforcer who can play like a LB at times - and doesn't see the need to replace Sendejo until he can get a true coverage safety.

Recent rumor is the Raiders are coming hard for Iloka.
