So much respect for this beautiful woman with a legendary voice...I pray someone comes along that wants to be and sound like her...we need them in this age of auto tune...

I listen to everything from Merle Haggard to Mendelssohn to Miles Davis to Toro y Moi. There isn't a genre of music I don't listen to. But I don't know what they call that screechy crap teenage girls listen to. If I'm ever held captive and forced to listen to Demo Lovato I would give up my own mother.

There is one hell of a group of musicians and singers rocking the heavens right now. Aretha Franklin is powerful beyond words. She could dig down deep and reach into not only her own heart and soul but yours. The raw emotion and passion that she could convey was incredible. She was one of a kind.
