Apples to Oranges. Clemmings was a late bloomer to playing football in general, IIRC. And he started out on Defense. His issues were solely technique, or lack thereof.
O'Neil converted from TE. Not uncommon. His challenge is having the core strength to anchor against bull rushes. Which is pretty much the opposite of TJs issues.

And he always asks the same questions over and over again. Yep he is that guy that annoys the hell out of Coach Zimmer. He will ask and Coach Zimmer will say I am not talking about that or I answered it already and then he asks again.
