Gotta say, I’m so happy for Teddy. He’s got the first down! He’s moving the chains. They are in the red zone now. Teddy got his first TD!!!!!

He ended up 7/8 for 85 yds. 1 TD & took them down the field for a FG on his last drive. I wish him the best.

7/8 85 yards 1 TD also got the Jets into field goal range for a 45 yarder (o-line false start on third down killed the drive). He looked relaxed and in charge. His passes were on target. He moved around well in the pocket and even had a scramble for a few yards.

Loved seeing Teddy on the field. The Jets ran the ball pretty well. They look pretty solid at first blush.

Honestly, Sam Darnold looked just as good and had very similar stats. Its preseason. It means really next to nothing.

Love me some Teddy, but.....its just preseason. Look at the stats of Baker Mayfield. QBs do extremely well in preseason

Oh I know Sticky, I’m just excited for Teddy. And you know, those other guys you mentioned didn’t nearly lose their leg a couple years ago either, so there’s also that B)

Walked into a mountain town brew pub last night for dinner, with football the last thing on my mind. But Teddy and the Jets were on the telly, so I got to watch everything he did. Very impressed by his footwork and patience. Those were things that could be a concern after an injury like that, but he was poised, calm, accurate. I think the GUMP might be back.

Teddy is the only interesting part of this preseason. I really don't care too much about watching the Vikings because they are a Vet team and they will be using vanilla offense and defense anyways.

Nope. Tommyknocker in Idaho Springs. I know, a stone's throw from Denver so barely qualifies as a mountain town, but we were camping up by Mt. Evans.

Idaho Springs is definitely outside the Denver metro area on the west side. I think you can say its a mountain town. Beautiful area.

Any predictions on where Teddy ends up? A lot of teams are being talked about. Tampa as cover for if/when Winston implodes. Miami as a hedge against Tannehill, and Teddy's from Miami and Davante Parker is there;  Cinci, don't really understand this one but I guess because there are now doubts about that red headed QB. Jax, because great team with a ?? at QB, and Denver as a replacement for Lynch. I hope he ends where he has a chance to compete for the starting job, or at least can be the long term guy. With that in mind, I wonder if the Giants might not make sense. They didn't draft a QB, Manning is nearing the end, and his OC would be Pat Shurmur, so he would know the offense.

Hooking-up with Shurmur is an interesting thought...
