Jerry Burns first game as Head Coach. Started played deep into the game in the first preseason game back then.
Vikings Visual Past: Aug 9, 1986, and it is the 1st time Jerry Burns took the field as Head Coach of the Vikings. Preseason win vs the Dolphins, 30-16.
