To tell the truth I was surprised when they initially found them alive... kind of a miracle. Hope indeed.
Been following closely for the past week.
Sounds like rains increase tomorrow, monsoon season now until October.
Hope the the rescue teams can get them outta there safe.

The first 2 boys have come out safe....going to be a long day.
I can see a lot of issues in the future with this cave area. After the world wide exposure that this story has created I expect it to become a major tourist attraction and a "must do" for the adrenaline junkies out there.
Amazing and compelling that they've survived this long. Air temps inside the cave are much warmer then most caves. That surely helped. Hopefully it will be a happy ending for all of them.

Anybody see the mini "sub"/rescue pod that Elon musk sent over there? I am not really claustrophobic but I may have opted to stay in the cave if that was my only way out. I didn't realize how many hours into that cave those kids really were until a a couple days ago when the rescue operetion started to get laid out.
Update: another boy out, just one boy and the coach left to get.

Nice work. Wasn't expecting to hear this when I 1st heard they went missing for over a week.
I am so glad they all made it out. What an incredibly scary situation. Kudos to the heroic rescue efforts.

Divers belts strapped to the hull...a O2 tank held on with tie downs....

i wonder if they used elons escape pod to get the last of them out, or if they just kept going the same way they started. it sounded like they had started on sunday before the pod got finished but they sent it over anyway.
