Can one catch make you a lot of $$?
Wondering how much the MN Miracle catch is subjectively worth to Diggs #'s regardless of where he signs his next contract?

I don't know that it will make him much more, the people that make those decisions already knew who he was and what his game is like. The fact that it was the 17th game of the season and he was able to play in it likely makes him more money imo.

I don't think it factors in too much. That's the type of catch he's shown he can make. I don't doubt he can high point a ball or make contested catches. What is in question is whether he can string together a full season and put up top WR1 type numbers or is he going to perennially put up bottom WR1 numbers. I think it comes down to should you pay him for what he might do, or what he has done, or some place in between with incentives.
I agree it doesn't make him no more money. His game was well known before that play. He will get paid because guys of his ability get paid, overpaid actually. Some of these WR FA contracts or ridiculous. If we don't someone will and it's not like he's had 3 straight 1000 yard seasons or anything.

Ironically, that was the last pass Tyree ever caught in the NFL.
But he will always have the autograph and memorabilia events for the next 50 years. He'll end up making more from those appearances than his NFL career.
Diggs's shoes for that game are already in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. I mean, this was a walk off game winner in a home playoff game for a football game to get into a conference championship. The rarest of the rare. The game was over as he crossed the goal line.
